The Historic Grand Prix of Zandvoort took place a few weeks ago. For that occasion I shot a few promotion images for Porsche NL of 2 old racing Porsches driven by dutch racing legends Jan Lammers and Gijs van Lennep. Jan drove the 1998 Porsche GT1 (which won LeMans in 1998) and Gijs drove the open single seater 917/30 from 1973. This 917/30 had a racing trim of 1100bhp, and with qualifcation even 1400bhp. Insane numbers!

A few weeks ago I had to shoot some images for airline Transavia and their new "Feel goodies" summer campaign. A combined portrait shot of 6 known vloggers and some “product” shots.  The first image is build from 3 images. Normally I would shoot this in 1 frame, but not all persons could match their agenda's on 1 date. So we had to stitch the images together to get 1 nice image.

I love shooting streetpics! When I am on assigment or on holiday, I always make pictures on the street. Sometimes maybe a bit annoying for others that are with me, but I really enjoy shooting candid street shots. I made a compilation of shot which I made last year in New York City. In 2011 I made a similar series; Characters of New York City Now it's time for the sequel!

This week I have been busy with creating the pictures of the new Studio Roosegaarde project, Rainbow station. Rainbow Station is live and you can check it out after sunset at Centraal Station Amsterdam.

"Rainbow Station connects the historic Amsterdam Central Station with the innovation of today by creating a large, site specific rainbow of light.
Together with astronomers of the University of Leiden, Roosegaarde unravels light efficiently into a spectrum of colours. Via new liquid crystal technology which is developed for research on exoplanets, Rainbow Station takes the exact shape of the 125 year old historic station roof."

Again a nice assignment for Studio Roosegaarde. This time a glowing bikepath, inspired by Van Gogh.

They are going viral as hell on al the big tech and design websites. Really nice to see!
